Barry Bell | Framings 1990-2018

Quint Projects is excited to exhibit work by the San Diego based artist, Barry Bell. There will be a reception for the artist from 6-8pm on Saturday, June 2nd, which is open to the public.

The work from this exhibition ranges from 1990 until 2018 and includes sculpture, paintings, photographs, collages and assemblages. This is Bell’s first solo show at Quint. 

Barry Bell is a long time collector of vintage photographs, postcards, advertising illustrations, etc., and combines many of those images with his hand painted and digitally printed visuals. Framing has also been an important part of the artist’s interests, and he utilizes unusual frames and framing techniques to add an additional layer of complexity to the work.
